Peatland farm is a small, family-run small holding that is, managed in a very traditional way almost to the standard as organically reared.
Our land is designated a S S S I which means special site of scientific interest
With our rare breed pedigree Shropshire sheep maturing slowly, grazing peacefully on the natural pasture’s of North Shropshire Peatlands.

Our free range hens wandering with no boundaries
Our dozen colonies of British Black Honeybee
All enjoying the natural land that is North Shropshire
We use no artificial fertilizers or pesticides
We do not routinely use antibiotics in our animals
Our lamb is hung for a week which in turn increases the flavour of an all ready tasty meat allowing for the flavour and tenderness is greatly improved.
